Department of Chemistry

Introduction

Department of Chemistry was started 21stJuly 2003 with extra-ordinary lab facilities in Chemistry Department having good class rooms and good environment. We have now well qualified faculties and lab assistant are there in Chemistry Department. Last six years onwards Honor Prof. S. SrinivasaChetty (Who was previously work in Arignar Anna Arts College(Government), Cheyyar) trained our Chemistry students for getting more and more knowledge.

We motivated a students to achieve a good placement. Because of him in 2008-2011 among other college students (1stAruna, 4thBakiyalakshmi and Vasanthi)got gold medal in Thiruvalluvar University. In this endeavor the students getting motivation and inspiration to achieve the goal. Presently in Chemistry Department 153 students are studying and 6 Faculties are working in KNC College. Now, We have started MSc Chemistry also in chemistry Department with 26 students
